->Gallardo Spyder/Roadster: Will probably be launched in the first quarter of 2006. Is planned to have a revised 5.2-litre version of the current Gallardo engine with between 550 and 600 hp. It should have a fully automatic fabric roof and an electric vertical rear window.

->Murciélago R-GT road-going version: Only 25 are planned and it is to be launched towards the end of 2005. A 6.5-litre version of the well-known Lamborghini V12 will give the car around 650-680 hp. It will be a rear-wheel drive vehicle with E-gear and ceramic brake discs. This car is expected to be a real comptetitor to the Ferrari Enzo, and a 0-100 km/h time of less than 3.5 seconds is targeted.

->Murciélago GT or SV: Can be expected around the same time as the 2005 R-GT and should have the same 6.5-litre V12. It will receive a revised four-wheel drive system and a mild facelift. Shorter gearing and ceramic brake disks could be some options for this version of the Murciélago.

->Espada II: A long four-wheel drive saloon with V10 power in the nose and four seats is on the drawing board and could see the light of day in a few years. A rear hatch is planned and should ensure that it won't steal sales from it's blood brothers.

->Espada II two-seat cabriolet: Could be spun off the Espada successor project. Both V12 and V10 engines could power this vehicle.

->LM00X: Lamborghini is working on a sports off-roader inspired by the LM002. It will possibly be prepared in three version: A four-wheel drive advanced Reef Runner, a four-wheel drive simpler Road Runner and a two-wheel drive lower Race Runner. All are planned to have two doors with scissor set-up functionality.

THE READERS OF PRESTIGIOUS GERMAN MAGAZINE "AUTO ZEITUNG" HAVE VOTED THE LAMBORGHINI MURCIÉLAGO AS "IMPORTED SUPER SPORTS CAR" IN THE "AUTO TROPHY 2004"

The Lamborghini Murciélago, an Italian sports car with a 12-cylinder, 6.2-litre, 580bhp engine and four-wheel drive, has received a significant award in one of the most important markets for the House of Sant’Agata, Germany. The readers of prestigious German magazine "Auto Zeitung" have voted the Murciélago as "Imported Super Sports Car" in the "Auto Trophy 2004".The Murciélago was also placed third in the overall "Super Sports Car" category, for German and imported cars combined, behind two German super sports cars. This award is another confirmation of the worldwide success of the Murciélago, which is such an important icon for Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Murciélago Coupé has been on the market since the end of 2001. The Roadster is being launched during the fourth quarter of 2004 in North America, and from the beginning of next year, will also be available on those other markets around the world where the House of the Raging Bull is present.Around four hundred Lamborghini Murciélagos are built and sold each year. Next year, Automobili Lamborghini expects a fifty-fifty split in customer demand between the Coupé and Roadster versions. The readers of "Auto Zeitung" also voted strongly for the Lamborghini Gallardo, the second model in the range, which achieved third place in the "Imported Super Sports Car" category. With a 10-cylinder, 5.0-litre, 500bhp engine, four-wheel drive and an aluminium body, the Lamborghini Gallardo was the choice of almost one thousand customers in 2003. This year Gallardo production and sales figures are likely to increase by around 20 percent.

New by a007

Stephan Winkelmann (40) will become President of Automobili

Lamborghini S.p.A. in Sant'Agata Bolognese (Italy).

In agreement with the Board of Directors of Automobili Lamborghini Holding S.p.A., Dr.-Ing. Werner Mischke (55) will resign as President of Automobili Lamborghini at the end of the year for personal reasons.

Lamborghini, an AUDI AG subsidiary which, together with its sister brands Audi and Seat, makes up the sporty Audi brand group, has experienced an extraordinary upturn in recent years thanks to intensive cooperation with Audi. Its products, technology and quality have set new standards on the world market. Winkelmann’s appointment will further strengthen Lamborghini’s

sales competence and help to achieve international market penetration, which

is essential for the brand’s lasting success.

Winkelmann is currently CEO of Fiat Automobil AG, Germany. He previously performed various sales and marketing functions at Fiat in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
