^ Exactly what I thought.

This Racer has an ass that just won't quit.

Some nice sticky wides at the back along with the engine would make for an amazing track experience!

those wide wheel arches are to accomodate for 14-inch wide wheels/tyres (normal in GT2 is 12 inch), but using that also means a +/- 100kg weight "penalty" (and bigger restrictors meaning more power)... it does look pretty good though, kinda reminds me of the old 993 GT2s cant wait to see it on the track

^ Nice post Dani! But it makes me wonder... Seeing that the GT3 RS is a homologation for the RSR racing car; isn't it supposed to have the same engine capacity? Would be wicked to see the RS with a 3.8-litre boxer

this car is so amazingly awesome 8) i LOVE it and its got a very nice livery too, most porsche "factory" cars do the penske RS Spyder being an exception because of the obvious full sponsoring programme...but the GT1s of old had great liveries too imo

Another very special car from porsche, as for the exhausts from my experience the majority of 996 GT3RSR's that clouted a rear corner of the car would get away with minimal suspension and drivetrain damage if lucky, but the old location of the tailpipe trumpet style tailpipes meant they got crushed and folded over very very often, a pain in the arse in endurance racing!!
More of a reason for the relocation (i would assume) would be the incorperation of a diffusing section from the flat floor the entire way across the rear of the car, the 996 exhausts inturrupted the diffusing section's flow. I think they look awsome! but some poor buggers gunna have to clean the rear centre section of the bodywork a whole lot more often now!!
