New Focus RS (if there is one) will be powerful enough to compete with Evo and STi I reckon, this ST is a competitor for the WRX 225hp and the rest of the 200hp-ish crowd, civic type-r etc. Again I think the RS is likely to have a 2.5 also, but bigger turbo/i-cooler and in a higher state of tune, 300hp easy. It'll be 4WD, I am guessing the ST is FWD. Not sure if it is the volvo engine they are dropping in or what though - the volvo 2.5T comes in 250 (T5) and 300 (R) hp states of tune IIRC.

As Jon S said the Fiesta RS has been shelved.

I really like this ST, not too mad about the 'black and decker' orange colour however :roll: , I'd like to see it in the RS blue 8) .

Yep, it's Volvo's T5 engine in the low hp version of the S40/V50.

If the RS version will come out with 4WD trasmission it will be like a Cosworth version. In the previous version of Focus, they announced a Cosworth version with 300bhp and 4WD but the car never came out :x

Thank god this version is much more agressive than the previous ST version. The future RS should very agressive. At least, I hope so

Dear god i think i mite just vomit.
I think it looks shite, i prefer the looks of mine any day, regardless of the 220 bhp. Give me a turbo conversion, or a Mk 1 RS any day!

Very nice for a ford, hope they go through with the RS. Should be a nice hot hatch with some balls
