Default 2006 Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance (56k Warning)

I made last minute plans to attend so unfortunately I had nobody to go with, but my mom made a good point. At shows like that, your never alone. This turned out to be very true and I had some nice conversations with some of the owners.

Here is what i have uploaded so far............

........Ok so there are still more to post but i need a break Ill probably add the rest after I get off work tonight.

Ok im home now, here's some more

Ok ok ok I guess I should stop now. Anyone have a pick for next months contest?

From what ive heard this is to be the new standard on all Ford GT's. This was the first time the prototype has been shown to the public

Didn't know about that. But it's a good idea since with the normal doors it was a bit dificult to get in the car ( do you remember Top Gear ? )

BTW I love the Ford GTX1

hmmm....

I think not.

GT's are ending production in August; and yours truly will be there for the whole of the event

now... it is possible that guys who work for Ford/and or other suppliers have created a door mechanism like that, but it is definately not stock.

Nice photos i'm a bit suprised they let in a DeLorean hehe. Any more shots of the IMSA March Chevrolet? what year is it?

Fantastic pictures. That gullwing looks fabulous! Although I don't really like how the Ford GT's doors were altered, given the way the roof opens up with the door, it makes getting into and out of, easier...still, I dunno if I would have done it myself.

Great pics! Thanks again!
