Default Mozilla related question

Today I decided to install Mozilla since explorer is more and more bitchy in saving pics and most of the time if I don't reboot right before, it saves every one as BMP. I then have to convert them back to jpg with PS.. and it sucks

i tried to clean the Temp Internet files and nothing changed...

So I got Mozilla... I don't like it that much since I'm used to explorer but that's not the point.. it seems to work fine and saves the pics as jpg, BUT it does something strange at times: on sc.net where the pics attached to posts when opened are opened, the result is a clickable pic that takes you back to the topic.. and well, if I right click it, the resul is the same as a left click
Idem if I right click the thumb to obtain the url and then delete "small" and obtain the big one... if I right click the thumb, it simply left click it.. so basically if I want to save pics from sc.net I have to open explorer, get every single url, paste it on Mozilla and save in there... needless to say that in this case it is faster to save them as bitmap and then use PS LOL..

I tried on JW gallery where the big pics are clickable also, and I can save them with the right click.. maybe just a strange lack of compatibility on sc.net?

Yeah, I don't know. Some websites are like that TT. They just don't render correctly.

I also recommend trying Firebird. It is a lot faster than the regular Mozilla.

I use Firefox (not firebird) and it has the same problem it has to be a compatibility issue on their end. I save the whole page then extract the picture from the file and delete the rest of the file when that happens on sc.net it sucks but other than that it's a great browser especially the tabs browsing using the middle mouse button I can open a lot of pages at once and that is very usefull.

I downloaded an extension, Image Toolbar 0.3.
It makes Firefox work as IE in the way that when you hover your mouse cursor over an image, a toolbar is displayed in the top left hand corner of the image, which allows you to save the image and perform other functions. You can safe the image that way.

You're welcome

LOL - and here the rest of us are foolishly using IE and having zero issues... ever...

Makes you wonder... maybe it is operator and not software errors...

Apart from the fact that IE takes a lot more resources, has more security leaks than Bill Gates has dollars, and loads slower than FireFox.

I never had issues with FireFox anyway.
