Default ** GUMBALL 3000 LONDON **

Well me and Jon_s attended the start of the Gumbal 3000 today, and it was pretty incredible! Totally disorginised, people EVERYWHERE, pretty dangerous and totally and utterly COOL!
Here are some of the pics i took of the cars 1stly parked up before the event, and then any i managed to snap as they passed by at the start parade. Enjoy.

Thats the majority of the stationary pics, i'll do the moving parade ones ASAP.

I can't wait for the videos either!

Wow, TEAM Mclaren realy wanted their SLR to stand out with their colors.

and gosh damn! Gotta love that CLK-DTM in black. especially with the black wheels!

Let's just hope nothing happens to those rare CLK's though.

Nice pics mate.

But damn, you're right, it was complete chaos, especially building up to them all coming out. The police were getting well angry with all the crowd and I saw quite a few threats of arrests. Even so, i kept out of trouble n managed to get a load of vids, but not pics unfortunately.

The zonda looked absolutely gorgeous in the light blue, stunning. As were the 4 F430s and CGT.

Must admit though, the 355's were still the best sounding there by quite a margin. The zonda was a very close 2nd, but he wasn't giving it much - although it still sounded very mean.

That black SLR looked a lot better in the flesh, i thought it looked awsome actaually, much better than the boring silver one.
Mingdam, the 355's sounded good cus they were beign ragged, but that zonda sounded soooo much better! The carrera GT sounded pretty sweet too!!
Oh what a day.

Awesome mate, makes me wish i'd driven down LOL, bit of a way to come tho well done for "persuading" jenson to do those fat number 11's ..... though i bet he didn't need much encouragement Some beauties there for sure, 355 still the best looking imo tho doesn't look as crowded as i thought it would be either

lol, dunno where coombsie was, but there was a hell of a lot of people there - getting close to what it was like for the F1 parade at a guess. There was at least 4 or 5 full riot vans worth of police, plus community officers, plus all the hired gumball security and that was barely enough to control the crowd. Good evening out though, well worth it

Very nice!! Thanks a lot!!!

For the ones not understanding italian, on the silver CGT, the plate says "PIIIRLA".. and well, "pirla" in italian is basically "dork", idiot, dumb person (but in a funny and not agressive way)
