It's not an Escort, and it's not a BUS !!! eheheh
It's an Opel ASCONA/1904SR, and the "BUS" is a Trolley.
A Trolley it's like a BUS, with rubber tires, but it has an electric engine, and some cables above to give him the power.

As for the trolley, we also have trolleys in Hellas(in Athens and in Salonica).. Actually weve been having them since 1950's I believe...

wow, some amazing pictures in there i also love the troley one, and basically all of them 8) looking at these pictures, it really seems like the good old time at least there werent such huge fences between the public and the cars back then...

What a great post!
I have no photos of old races myself, but will try and get some from a friend.
I love those batmobile BMWs. Spectacular.
That Nurburgring '73 Capri is a Perana isn't it? If it is I think a guy here in South Africa - Peter Lindenberg - has the only original left in the world. Not certain though.
