Default Classic Races - Photos

This is a topic for you to put photos of races that were held until 1980. Let's say... classic photos.

I also would like to ask you to identify the location and the year of the race, if possible, to make this archive as valuable as possible.

I'll start!

Portugal-Vila do Conde-1977

Portugal-Rally Rainha Santa-1973

It's not an Escort, and it's not a BUS !!! eheheh

It's an Opel ASCONA/1904SR, and the "BUS" is a Trolley.
A Trolley it's like a BUS, with rubber tires, but it has an electric engine, and some cables above to give him the power.

Security makes us loose some of the fun...

The cars itself are getting heavier because of the security devices.

What a great post!
I have no photos of old races myself, but will try and get some from a friend.
I love those batmobile BMWs. Spectacular.

That Nurburgring '73 Capri is a Perana isn't it? If it is I think a guy here in South Africa - Peter Lindenberg - has the only original left in the world. Not certain though.
