Im sure this has been out there for a while but Id never seen it till today.. Very interesting discussion of the design process w/ pictures for some of the modified versions of kitt.

Pretty interesting, but the best part of the KITT design was the red LED's put on the grill of the Trans Am..

Comcast cable has recently been playing Knight Rider episodes in HiDef.. I never knew episodes were an hour long! You've got to be a major Hasselhof fan to make it through the whole show.. but for the first 30 mins you'll laugh your ass off because the acting is so poor, but then gets annoying.

I wonder how many cars they made throughout the whole series.. In some episodes they make KITT do some ridiculous jumps that would clearly break a car in half.

That was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. At that age I thought that was the coolest car in the world. Show looks campy as hell today.

Agree ... the best episode was KITT was KARR ... good fun
