Its record is impressive, but it could have been even more impressive

Thanks inso for providing the article.

well i partly disagree dani, as the CGT was developed by Röhrl also on the NS i think it's just fair to tune the Zonda for the hot lap.

very impressive to see how they were able to improve so much with only the little track time they had

I disagree too Can't see anything wrong with tweaking a car's suspension, if it's something that owners of the car can also do themselves. The car is completely stock. If they used different tires, or gearbox-ratios, or brakes, it would be another story of course...

Thanks for the article by the way, gangajas!

nice read,
@modifications: well they said, they did only things which would be possible with a standard customer Kit, hence the modifications would be "normal work" on the car...
I'm sure the CGT got a NS-setup since it was tested there before.

Thanks for the article

^ Yeah that's where I got the video from that I posted. Not only is the owner of the record-Zonda from TT country, it's also the same car that TT had a passenger ride in!

The Zonda new record is stunning, and I know the Zonda F is fully adjustable, but adapt the car setting to the Ring to get a "perfect" lap is going a bit too far when it comes to "production car record"
I complety disagree whit you .
Tweaking a cars stock suspension for that perfect lap is normal and if a car has adjustable suspension so that zonda is a 100% production car in every way.
