Probably easiest to pick a favorite song by category since it's so tough to just choose one song, but I'll try anyhow.

Since my favorite band is Metallica, it must be one of their songs. All of them deserve #1 to me, but the very slight lead goes to Battery. It's fast, aggressive, and opens up one of their best CDs.

*after listening to Master of Puppets again today, I want to make Sanitarium tied with Battery for 1st, since it's kickass

I dont have a favorite anything. No favorite car, favorite song, favorite women...each has something different to offer.

acording to my http://www.last.fm/user/possessed/ (takes note of all the music i play and makes charts and all that other crap) my fav 10 songs.. must be

1 Strapping Young Lad - Shitstorm 39
2 Pantera - Cemetery Gates 38
3 The Dillinger Escape Plan - Pig Latin 38
4 Slipknot - Before I Forget 38
5 Metallica - The Call of Ktulu 37
6 Slayer - Raining Blood 37
7 Metallica - Sabbra Cadabra 35
8 My Chemical Romance - Our Lady of Sorrows 35
9 Children of Bodom - Silent Night, Bodom Night 34
10 My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise) 34

but personally i would have to say Metallica - Enter sandman, when that song gets played when I'm out i always get the biggest grin on my face!

If I had to pick one it would be: Bent - Swollen

Groove Armada - 'Fly me to the moon' or 'Suntoucher' come a close second.

Oh my! I thought I was the only person to listen to Thievery Corporation. They are the Shiznit! My fave track is Lebanese Blonde.

I am listening to St Germain 'Deep in it' right now.

It's a Sunday morning tune for sure.

It really depends on the mood, but I am very much a groove/dance music kind of person. Occasionally I'll listen to Led Zep, Pink Floyd etc.

As for dance music, Kruder and Dorfmeister or Nicholas Matar.
