So is there an official Lap time for the C6 Z06 or just speculation?

The C6 Z06 has lapped the Northloop in 7m40s
Looks like my simulated prediciotn of 7m40s was spot on...

"Almost" as ugly..
The new Jetta has it beat by about 43%.. hehe
But the really good news is for those folks with 480+rwhp C5Z06's - the wider stickier tyres they run, are truly awesome cars
This is all the incentive I need to keep my C5 Z Reasonably priced engine and suspension upgrades are able to place the C5 Z squarely in the C6 Z's performance zone.
Yeah baby.

Which will still be more than I want to pay hehe
Besides - the gouging dealers will first keep the price in the $85,000+ range for a while.
I mean, after all the hype and markups, off-lease and trade-in CTS-V's are showing up in the $36K range - and to think many paid $51K + stupid markups just to get them first

Sooner or later it will happen. ITs crazy though, because most of these cars were arlready sold at discount, now they are selling at an even bigger discount. How couldnt GM see this coming?

Videos of my simulated lap?
Just like most "official" laps - there will probably never be video lap of the real car...

Are they saying the 600bhp S/C version lapped in 7:40 or the 'normal' Z06 lapped in 7:40?
If it was the supercharged one, I cant say Im very impressed.

actually, i dont think they ever give gms on corvettes. even when you guys think they would be selling slow, they pretty much sell all of them... rc45 are you saying cts-vs are going for 36k used right now? thats incredible... then again, i just read in a magazine that the rear tires only last around 5000 miles haha.
