^^^^You're right Dani, the Tiptronic is faster than manual box for the new 997 turbo.



Fortunately this BMI video wasn't a NSX beating a 997 turbo. :wanker:

Default as a great porsche i have to tell.......

i have already driven the new 997 tt and i have to say its a very very fast and perfect car. but the tiptronic is boring, although porsche says its the fastest tiptronic they have made so far, it shifts to slow and the characterisitc when you shift back is like you drive a automatic transmission car - boring. and the acceleration isn't better than with a manual gearbox. auto motor sports tested the 997 turbo with manual gearbox and also reached 0-100 in 3,7 sec. the sound of the car is a dissapointment - much to silent.
real porsche lovers have to prefer the 997 gt3..........i am still saving for it

Having driven, 996tts 997tt and 996 gt3 iong not for the turbo but the gt3, in white, with black painted wheels, carbon seats, PCCB. I long for a drive.
