I guess it would be mid 600 whp car on a mustang dyno

Ford GT can make 1100-1200 hp+++ on stock internals... +++ = 1600ish; but with big cams, and a underdriven supercharger, and giant turbos.... and redline boosted to 7500

well....the block in the current 500 can likely take more boost; being cast iron. However, the internals in the 500 are likely good for about 800-900 SAE.... +-....

I had dinner with somebody VERY high up tonight... learned a lot, was sitting inside the GT500 successor.... talk of Ford taking over the moniker of "Domestic sports car" sooner than later.... with talk of GM eradicating GM Performance devision; and a semi-forced retirement of Heinreicy... will there be no Z28 now (top level model anyway; I can't keep up with the name changes)

I wish there was some good news here. And there is; but it will have to wait a little while.

That is v8 lol
We are talking about a straigh 6 engine not some v8 engine
