Before you write this off as a Caparo knockoff, understand that this car was in development since 2003. But similarities are striking nonetheless.
Unlike Caparo's exotic racing engine, this one uses an LS7 boosted up to 600hp, which should be lot easier to service. And it's wide enough for two occupants to sit side by side.
Initially, it was supposed to have a BMW M V8 from the E39 M5. But times have moved on and this one gets the LS7.
The name Hulme is from the Kiwi racing champion Denny Hulme, and the car was inspired by Bruce McLaren, as the color of the prototype clearly shows.
