I'm pretty sure its a photoshop job,

to be true, what a car that will be,
a total overkill!!!

Can't say for sure, but it definitely seems like a PS...and if it was real, why would they cut those horrible holes in the hood? Looks hideous, and I don't see the point, the SLR has the same engine as the SLK55 right (of course in a different state of tune, but either way)?

normally aspirated SLK55 engine is the same apart from displacement!!!

Yeah, that's for sure a ps or whatever it is, it would be impossible to fit the SLR engine wich is much more longer and so on, in to an SLK engine bay, so yeah total bullshit, and anyway that would be sooooooooo stupid and ridiculous

Ahh, I figured the SLK55 was s/c, well, anyways...the same as the SL55 engine... Except for a quite noticeable difference in hp.

It'd be a much better idea to tune up the V8 that's already in there, and put a manual transmission in it.

^Tottally agree with you, it will be much better perfomance and cost wise to tune the normally aspirated engine and put a much beter transimission instead of going with the much bigger, much more expensive and difficult to install SLR engine! 8)

5.5-liter Supercharged = SLR
5.5-liter Naturally Aspirated = SLK55

Same engine but one has a supercharger, not sure how much taller that makes the engine, but same engine mounts.

By the way, yesterday was the first time i saw an SLR on the road, sounds like a supercharger Mustang Cobra but the exhaust aren't as loud on the SLR.

No way! That is a definitely a PS job......the SLR engine is much longer, it would never fit under a normal SLK55's hood.

You're getting confused with the engine length and intake length, the engine is the same it's just it has a long ass intake that goes to the front of the car.

well this could be a PS job
for 2 reasons, on the first image you can clearly see a diff. off light on the engine cover and on the hood of the car.

the 2nd one is, the person who made this really doesn't know how to use text in PS, not that PS is any good with text, you would need to import the file into a vector based program like ill. and it would look better... but that is enuf rampling the text in the plate on the front of the car were it says his name, it isn't angled with the plate.

Now for reasons why this could be real, on the last image you can the trees (green) in the reflection off the carbon fiber plane in the engine bay.

all this said you could fit the engine and the intake, but no room for anything else in the engine bay, like a radiator, air con., or power steering.

where did you find the pics??
