I watched Cars again. Brought a tear to my eye at the end of the final race...again.

Last movie I watched was: The Bourne Ultimatum ---- Briliant movie!!!! That made me get all the previous Bourne movies....and Im going to watch them soon
I watched this on (pirated) DVD two days ago. It was a great movie which tied up all the loose ends. It was linked to the Bourne Supremacy, yet edited in a way to make it a stand alone film. Excellent.

I had to study Citizen Kane in Year 12. It was actually pretty interesting. I would never watch it again, though, because I got sick of it.

The best movie I have watched this year, is trully amazing, it makes you think, iti makes you google the characters, it makes you wonder how past was, it makes you think about the future.......

AMERICAN
GANGSTER

"Who'd think I'd be in a shit $300 car like that?" asks Lucas, who claims he'd clear up to $1 million a day selling dope on 116th Street.

AVPR (Alien vs Predator Requiem)

I've always been a fan of the original Alien and Predator movies so I am a bit biased towards them

over the last month, I saw:

I am Legend: Good remake of the old movies... worth the watch... 7/10

3:10 to Yuma: FANTASTIC film, I really can't say enough about this movie. Even if you aren't familiar with Westerns, this film does true to the the man who made the western, Clint Eastwood... 10/10!

National Treasure: Book of Secrets - Better then the first one, but the treasure is a bit more "lame" ... there may not be a repeat of the fantastic "we need more lemon's" scene, but there is some amount of cheese. Worth the watch ...7/10

No Country for Old Men: Not a lot of dialog... in some ways, it is a more modern vision of a western... There is no confusion of the good and bad guys, but there isn't any character development, which takes away from the film. Definitely worth the watch .... 8/10

No Country for Old Men - Best picture of the year in my mind, but I am biased, as it is filmed in Texas. Not a formula movie, I understand the same writer has done a post WW3 type book and it is being made into a movie, I can't wait.

National Treasure - Enjoyed it as much as the first one. Inca treasure seemed to end up a little too far North for my historic sensibilities.

Golden Compass - Caution spoiler later on. It was only Ok, but doubt I will watch the sequels. If you do a movie you need to make it really good the first time out, not do a really long movie and cut it into thirds and expect everyone to really enjoy the first third, which is what this movie seemed like. Not enough Daniel Craig and Nicole not sexy enough this time out. "Luke I am your father" Sorry its been done before.

Juno - Very good, but most of the good laughs are in the trailer. Probably a good movie to take your young teenagers too, as it deals with a serious issue and seems to solve it pretty well. Cast is incredible. You will see the young girl again.

A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0473488/
A very good movie 9/10
Dito, a writer in L.A., goes home to Astoria, Queens, after a 15-year absence when his mother calls to say his father's ill. In a series of flashbacks we see the young Dito, his parents, his four closest friends, and his girl Laurie, as each tries to navigate family, race, loyalty, sex, coming of age, violence, and wanting out. A ball falls onto the subway tracks at a station, small things get out of hand. Can Dito go home again?
