And I have been using the game pad for Forza and it is just fine, perhaps not the most realistic, but still good fun.

I share the same opinion. I haven't gotten to the point where the regular controller isn't fun anymore. Plus I don't want to have to justify why I spent so much money on peripherals for one game when I should be saving for a house
