Nope - just another never-wrong-RC45-rules-the-world thread.

Nothing to see here folks- move along...

The point?

This makes for a good discussion I think - Exactly what do you think drives people to buy into an image by getting the poofta edition of something - just so they can join the club?

Discussion - with differeing points of view...

But if you prefer the "accepted" Ferrari is god... Ferrari is god... Ferrari is god... American cars suck... American cars suck... no European cars are flawed... no European cars are flawed... no European cars are flawed... Ebery Porsche is perfect... crap..

The more power to you.

Just because you are attracted to a pussy car you shouldn't let it cloud your judgement.

So - you are correct nothing for you to see here

Move along.

People buy the poofta versions because:

1) Gotta conpenscate damn I know I spelled that way wrong.....for the small penis

2) They buy it cause its a well known brand, but dont want none of the hardcore action involved with putting an un assited 500bhp on the road, just enough to pick up a gold digging skank at some skanky club where skanks hang out.

3) Know nothing about cars but have extra cash burning a hole in the pocket, the flame making its way towards that smell penis...now you got a small penis in the first place, so dang! You cant get an inch burned off cause then it will be only suitible for leaking water. So that cash has got to go.

From Car Magazine 2005's Hottests Cars:

Boxster S:

'This is a car that's easily one of the best handling, most complete and most desirable real world ownership propositions of the planet.'

Michael Mallock (Racing Driver):

'Could have done with more poke but a very balanced chassis. Very impressive'

If you think that a SUV is better than this great sportscar......¬¬

C/D writes about the Boxster S:

'All is forgotten on a sinuous mountain road where the Boxster squirts from corner to corner with race-calibrated steering, peerless damping of body motions, and delicious machine noises from the back. Decreasing radii, pitching surfaces, granular pavement—the Boxster keeps you grinning through it all. Even one Corvette lover was moved to comment, “That’s about the best 10 miles I’ve ever had in a car.'

But it's still not "real world" - it's track-day style jaunts that bring the car into it's own..

And if all you wanted was a "track day" style feeling, I would take a Noble way before a Boxster

Bah - I am just biased against the Boxster - no I simply hate it with a passion - with almost as much passion as I love the GT3...

It demonstrates that the Boxster S is a great drivers' car and it will give its owner a lot of great driving moments, even if a SUV is faster at the drag strip (Who cares?)
