Lets see. Round by round:

Bahrain - there wasn't a car as good as the Renault.

Malaysia - nothing spectacular, second place, Ferrari had engine problems and still not a good car other than the Renault.

Australia - Ferrari sucked, Button sucks.

San Marino - he had a 1 sec (at least) faster car per lap and couldn't go past Schumacher in 28 laps, he almost loses it in the attempt...

Europe - couldn't gain a good advantage over Schumacher and then got owned... bad.

Spain - great strategy to have a fastest car, Ferrari IMO didn't select the right tyre.

Conclusion, he has been benefited by the other teams lack of pace, same thing as the past year... Alonso doesn't win races, the other teams loose them

in 2000 Ferrari didn't have the best car, it was very competitive... That year Schu had a couple of DNF, as well a Mika... it was a great season.
what happened to Mika in 2001, is pretty much what happened to Kimi last year.

To me Alonso hasn't proven to be the outstanding driver everyone says he is, he hasn't won races like today, when there isn't a clear advantage for him, when the competitive cars are equaly good... he has won having the best car, not being the best driver...

You can think of Alonso all you want, he IS a great driver. You should give credit where credit is due. IMO, the fight he had with Schumacher last year when Schumi had an obviously faster car, but couldn't overtake is a clear example of the talent and coolness the guy has. Alonso is talented...

Ferrari had the best car in 2002, and 2004; not the other years by a long shot.

Ferrari have a car that is at least equal to the renault; except for tires... and my bet is there will be yet another new compound in Monaco...

Ferrari's stratagy just simply didn't work, and the car didn't have the pace to pass on the pit stops like the previous two races... as either MS, or Russ Brown stated "we didn't have the speed on a light fuel load" and that is what it came down to.

to say the least; the battle isn't over

but the race wasn't exciting like it was at San Marino, or the Nurburgring

did anybody else watch the CBS version? they are just terrible at reporting F1 the replays felt way too Monday Night Football for my taste... the directorship in Spain of the footage was easily the worst ive seen this year

a lot of on board boring moments, and not showing any action... of course, mabey there wasn't that much

1) His character is shit.

2) His talent is nothing special.

What is there to like?

Every single win and "achievment" he has came at the price of others losses.

Simply put, he only wins when Ferrari fuck up.

Whenever Micheals car works and is on pace with Alonso, Schumi wins. Simple as that.

Only quality I like about Alonso is his consitancy. Otherwise he is one dimensional and boring.

However no mater how much talent he has the man is a cunt.

With his "I dont believe in luck" to his "I had bad luck" *upon fuckups

P.S Schumi was what 2 tenths slower then Alonso in qual with 6 laps extra worth of FUEL!

So once again the fastest guy of the weekend was MS, and Alonso had the same lap as Fisi, as their fuel difference would equate to the same time.

And Fisi has been shite all year, so whose fast?

And never mind Massa, he's even worse then Fisi.
