i agree with everyone above dude, unless you spent every cent you own save for a few grand on this CS, get it into a dealer and have it properly dignosed. next time, if you want a ferrari that bad that quickly, why dont u rent one while u wait for the deal to go through and all the neccessary checks are complete?

Hey guys. We finally found the problem. After having gone through all the engine bay at the Ferrari dealer, ( we took it there after your advice, and they couldn't find what was wrong with it ) we decided to buy some new tires for it. Just to see if the old tires where the problem, or if one of the rims where fake ( i.e. not a magnesium rim but an aluminium one ) we testet the car with 430 wheels. The car drove absolutely perfect now! So what we did was to change one wheel at a time to the old 360cs wheel, and the car drove perfect with 2 360cs front wheels and 1 360cs rear wheel. Then when we put the last tire on, it turned to sharply when applying full throttle that you could actually turn off at the exit on the freeway just by giving it full throttle and keeping the steering wheel straight ahead!!!

So... what we did was to change the tires for some new racing tires, Pirelle P zero Corsa instead of Rosso - and now the car is perfect. We had it in 310 km/h at the rev limiter tonight and it is really a super - car ! Thanks for the advice guys and have a nice weekend.

it was a minor crash it had had so we didnt think the chassis was bent.
Kind of strange statement -- people who spent a lot of money on a 2nd hand or used car would never be nonchalant about any minor accident.

Always check used cars paint job. For instance, go around the car and see if the colors are all the same because paint on cars if original will age the same time.

Run your hand on the paint work as if it was a girl's ass and gently feel the paint. If it feels and look like an orange peel forget it, the car has been resprayed. Most cars are resprayed because it was involved in some kind of accidents.

Check the runbber lining around the door and boot sills. Most resprayed cars will have over spray on rubbers.

Check the bolts and nuts to see if it has been touched. If it has been touched it may have been involved in some kind of accidents.

Good luck in the future.

well i dont know why are you posting for help and not the owner of that Ferrari?

Surely, you got a camera you can use to take pics of the car an it's new tires.

I have a feeling, even if it was a genuine owner he has had his advice and has gone!
