New Compact Digital Camera £200-250
Dear all,
I want to buy my friend a digital camera. It needs to be a compact design. They're not into photography yet so it will probably be used on holidays most of the time.
Please give me your advice.
Much appreciated.
Duncan

I've got an IXUS 850IS along my 5D, and it's great for a compact. The 28mm-equivalent wide-angle + IS is great for partypics etc. 8)

I bought myself a Casio Exilim Z1000 (10,2 mp, 2,8" screen) for €350 (that's with a protective case + 1GB memory included), I really like it!!

It's not so generous, there are 3 people paying 50 and 6 paying 10 each.
He did fly to Berlin for my birthday too.
