Hahaha. With the price tag expected to be above F430, I'd buy a secondhand a 550 or 456M instead. If you have to have a convertible, I'll know you're a ponce.

based on the pics, i'd call it a nightmare come true for true ferrari fans; however i'd wait to see it in flesh before final judgement. remember when 599 gtb came out, everyone started yelling at ferrari for the awful looks but after a while, praise was the only thing you heard describing it.

also, let's not forget the target market of it; i.e. rich old blingy faggots! who'll definately love it

Man. Because of how horrible the new one is, rich people are flocking to the old California Spyder.

the charisma of certain classics like the california spyder and 250 GTO are beyond that of any modern car, either the fugly new california gt or even the better looking ones.

I'm not convinced of that...I think the Alfa 8C Competizione has a lot of that style and charisma...would have even more of it without that paddle-shift box...

Some photoshopped images of the California in different colors (taken from F-Chat and an Italian website)

Certainly looks better in darker colors but I'm still not liking the design of this car... The rear looks extremely large no thanks to that retractable hard top.

I respect your view and agree on the 8C Comp.
however, there are some certain classics that have not met an equally beautiful modern one in my book! (and one of'em is this '61 california gt)

I suppose this is true...I'm more a fan of the 250 GT SWB and 275 GTB though...and I am a huge fan of the Tipo 33 Stradale...they don't make'em like they used to...

There's new pics of the California in color other than red. Metallic color makes it less unbearable. Just.

I quite like it in these angles. It certainly looks much better with the top on
It still looks like a mash of the Gran Turismo and 599, which isn't completely bad but that's a little uninspiring...
