How to identify a DVD disc if its pal or ntsc and region ?

Thats it , i need a tool that gives me the info on the dvds i have , if they are ntsc or pal , a conversion utilityu to NTSC would be gr8 too

put it in your computer, try and play it, if it wokrs it is the same region of the player, if it comes up with a box it will tell you what region it is and ask you to change region, dont do that. if you ahve cracked your dvd rom it wont work. there is probably there is a program to do it...but thats just off the top of my head

Just found out that the dvd im trying to play is region free , but how do i figure out if its pal or ntsc ?
