Jabbas hand situation
Geekdiggy's signature reminded me that you had gotten Post Whore Syndrome, I was just wondering if had gone to the doctor to have it repaired yet. I have't seen anything about it since you first said something about it and got curious.
Either way, I hope it all gets sorted out if it hasn't been taken care of yet!

my friend gave a speech about what hand exercises can be done to "cure" postwho....i mean carpal tunnel syndrome. they're simple flexions and movements of the wrist that can alleviate the pain and reduce most. sadly i've forgotten what these movements are but i do remember that one involved throwing your keyboard into a barrel of gasoline and lighting that son of a bitch 8)

Thanks for asking.
My hand hasn't got any better I am afraid but it hasn't got any worse either...I have also reduced the amount of keyboard work I do each day...hence my lower post count these days.
I guess the only way I am going to get it sorted out is to have the operation but that wont be easy as life is currently rather hectic what with moving at the end of the month and everything...

Stop clicking your "mouse" so much. Try using wrist supports, I started using them and it really helps. Make sure you use one on the mouse to, thats just as bad as the keyboard.

At least it hasn't gotten any worse. I bet it'll be fun moving with a half way crippled hand.

I started having wrist troubles years ago, but not when using laptops, just desktops.
I collapsed the feet on my desktop keyboards to make them flat like my laptops, and I haven't had a problem since. Just something about how I hold my hands I guess, tilting my wrists back was causing the problem.
Might be too late for you Jabba, but maybe after some healing time...?
