Default Konica Minolta Dimage A200

Hi guys! I just fall in love with this amazing camera  . I think about it even more than about my g/f and can't wait 'till I buy it ops:

things I preffer:
8 Mpix
CF cards (I've got Canon PS A40 which uses them...)
7x optic zoom
vari-angle LCD 1.8" monitor
ability to put some "magic glass" - which is usual these days...
anti-shake technology
Manual zooming ring
resolution up to 3264 x 2448

things I don't like:
battery pack
449.99 GBP at Jessops (I still don't trust E-Bay when buying expensive things...)

that price is the maximum amount of money which I'm willing to spend on my camera...

http://konicaminolta.com/products/co...200/index.html

have you guys some another (maybe better) tip for a camera for this kind of money? but I think this is the best one... Please don't tell me about EOS 300D... that's somewhere else... THX

i would say that the minolta appears to be an equal or so to the Cannon Pro-shot 1, which TT has...

im quite sure you will be very pleased with it, as you dont appear to be looking for a DSLR; which i would recomend the 300d (rebel xt)

i'd say definately go for it (does it shoot video?)

Must be a good camera. I would go for a Canon, but it's just me And the Pro 1 although a great camera, is on the market since some time now.. I guess a new model will arrive soon.. but maybe thanks to that, you can find a good deal for it.

The image stabilizer is interesting (but a tripod is better and the stab will probably use the battery a bit quicker when turned on)
The rotating screen is practical when you want to take some pics from the ground or from the "sky"
The fact you can put filters on it is VITAL!

yeah, I know your camera is good enough, but it's still 70 GBP more and 450 GBP is the top I want to spend...

Don't worry, me too

I just know it's a box with the screen and it can take pics
I'll have lots of learning with it... I just know, how to set speed shutter, but histogram is exotic word for me ops:
