Default Car of Lausanne, Warning, lot of pics, 56k beware!

Pretty dumb topic, and BTW, it's not truely my idea, but it was inspired by Discofish at RF..

He once posted some pics of cool cars she saw in Miami on a rainy day...

We, back then I decided to take my camera with me as long as possible, and try to find something cool here too

Obviously all the pics are taken during some weeks of time, not all the same day

Now I have around 50 pics and it's useless to keep them on my PC and just show them to gis via MSN and to some other friends from time to time if I find a car I know they like

So, here are the "cars of lausanne" I got so far

--

3000GT or GTO, the first one I got on pic BTW, my g/f's dad, in Poland has one

Almost missed it.. I was not ready.. anyway, "just" an E46 M3 with some ugly (IMO) wheels

Not sure about this one.. it reminds me of the Plymouth (not sure) Sly is driving in "Cobra".. but it's not the same

Not really the most sexy Porsche in the world... the interior was terribly worn out and full of shitty gadgets!

A nice Cossie, "living" near me

Nice SL55, more common than the SL500 around here

We have ricers too, but this Civic is pretty nice

Strange color IMO

Prowler, very rare here. Pic taken in my favourite playground: the Palace Hotel

An Elise Mk 2 111S for sale.. only 100 km done.. so priced like new...

RS4 are everywhere, but I don't know why, I rarely take them in pic

Not really a supercar, but the Annyversary Edition GTI is very nice IMO

One of my best finds, to bad I almost missed it: 996 GT2!

Same day, second Porsche.. this time only a Carrera

Again same day, another 200 meters down the road... I guess it's a replica since it's parked like that, w/o the roof in the middle of nowhere...

Crazy how someone spend his money on a Brabus Smart... but well, I already saw some Crossblades around so...

147 GTA.. there are a few around, but this one is the only one I managed to find parked. Pic was taken in the dark almost.. Photoshop can do wonders

Again, plain car, but it was the first new A3 I saw, and it was from my window

You can barely recognize it, but it's a 575M, not a 550... it just took off while I was stopping to take the pic, damn..

Again the Palace, and I saw that 360 everyday for a whole week I think

Same place, but the Modenas are doubles.. the one in the front had a big damage on the side, but it's hard to see in the pic

Complete kit by ABT for this Golf

A nice 330 for sale.. the price was pretty good if I remember well

RS4 for sale

Maserati garage

Same place...

Shit, I missed the Murcielago, but you can see also a Cayenne in the background

The BMW dealership where I took my car for a check up.. and a nice Z8

The new Clio V6 Mk 2 near my home

F355 from my window

I wanted to shoot a Bentely in front of it, but got the Turbo instead..

Golf R32

Nice SL500 with sporty Micra in front

Porsche sleeping in a shopping mall

The Porsche was at "-2", this one was at "-3".. nice

CLK 43.. full CLK vy Carlsson.. I suppose it costed a lot of money.. nice sound it had

Another Turbo

This Impreza got many mags covers around the world, and its owner lives here in Lausanne

A nice A4 for sale

Marry me!

Another E46 M3

Rare Griffith

And here is the Bentley I missed before

Not rare, but it had nice wheels.. to bad I didn't shoot the pic from the side.. dumb me..

Very nice bodykit, to bad the car is black and you can't see it proprely

Again from my window.. the same guy that had the 355.. he also had a 348 here some days ago... no idea if he runs a garage...

I wish I had a digital camera. Need to get one soon. We have so many nice cars in Toronto. If you know where to go. There is this little place here which looks so European with fancy restaraunts, and two expensive hotels there are lots of good cars there on weekends.

P.S They are openinig a Ferrari/Masserati dealership 10minutes away from where I live, damn, Im gonna be there every day.

Nice pics there! Life in Lausanne looks good to me.

The pics remind me of the way I walk or drive. Minding traffic, but always scanning everything that drives by for something special. It can be cars just a little special (an Alfa Romeo 156 in a nice colour with beautiful wheels for instance) or very rare (I come across a certain Maserati Bora here often). It just makes my day.
