Default Top Gear Awards 2006

From the website:

Last year was our boldest, most costly, most opulent Top Gear Awards ever. But that was nothing compared to what we've got planned for this year.

We're celebrating the Top Gear Awards 2006 on an unprecedented scale - 12 of the year's greatest cars shot at an awesome location and revealed to you on-by-one, via exclusive video teaser clips right here at TopGear.com.

Check out our PREVIEW VIDEO for a taster, then log on from Monday December 4 to be part of the winners' countdown.

Every day there'll be a brand-new video giving you a sneak preview of each of the category winners. It's a bit like an advent calendar, but without the rubbish chocolate.

Then, we'll announce the overall Top Gear Awards 2006 winner just as our special Awards issue of Top Gear magazine hits the shops on December 13 - with all the results in full, glossy detail.

Want to have a guess at this year's winner? Drop us a mail...

-- i guess this can be the place to post the winner's. my comp doesn't really run videos well... so can someone update this page for all of us thanks!

The Veyron ,599 GTB and the SLR are also GT cars, how come they didint won? The Jaguar aint that special, its only British, and thats the only reason i dislike Top Gear, for making British cars look unreall, but in the rest, Top Gear are the best thing that happened in TV and motoring, and I respect there decissions

Winners:
SUV: Land Rover Freelander 2
Dream Car: Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

i think that's the last of it... but they'll probably still have to choose the car of the year from the winners
