Difficult to say wich one is better.. the Gumball is for sure the main event.. and basically based in Europe even if they did a couple of runs in the States.. the Players run is an US event and a nice choice for ppl tired to wait for the next Gumball

I've never heard about that rally. However, I prefer the Gumball.
Just watch its trailer.. (If I'm not wrong about 110MB)
You'll see that you'll think about pickin one for best..

On the main page it looks like they have a Enzo, Mosler, Ford GT, Bentley Continetal GT signed up for this years, anyone else notice that or have more info on the cars registered?

Player's Run had a booth at Concorso in Monterey. They said the US DVD was coming out soon, but that it wasn't quite ready. From the website, it's still not ready. I've got a DVD player that will pay it all, but I'd like to get a US formatted copy just in case I want to bring it to a friend's house or something like that. I tried working then for the one copy they were playing on the TV in the booth, but they wouldn't sell it to me. =) Here's some shots of the F40 they were using for their display:

I think Player's Run is an off-shoot of Gumball - meaning it came after Gumball. Player's Run is purely for fun with stops during the rally, at various race tracks along the way. From what I understand, a portion of the Gumball proceeds go to charity. I guess it's a way to try to make it not seem as evil as just Cannonballing for rich folks.
