Default 355/360 Final Production Numbers

Tought it would be cool to have this as future reference.

*360 Modena:

Berlinetta - 8,500 Units
Spider - 7,500 Units

Challenge Stradale - 1,200 Units
Race cars (Challenge) - 300 Units

This accounts for a total of 17,500 cars produced over 5 years. *Note: rounded numbers.

F355:

Berlinetta - 4,915 Units
GTS - 2,577 Units
Spider - 3,714 Units

Spider Serie Fiorano - 104 Units

Challenge - 72 Units (built as new; an estimate of 100 cars were fitted with Ferrari's after-market pack.)

Competizione - 355 Units

Number of cars produced over 5 years or so: 11,737 Units.

Also,

Factory's anual production capacity: Maximum of 5,000 cars.

Most produced in a year: 4,900 cars (2004).

Interesting numbers...

Some would argue that 18000 cars over 5 years is too much, but hell... there's no such thing as too many ferraris

I'm surprised that they built 1200 CSs in such a short period...

Nice find nuno!

Yep, 348's were sitting on Showroom's floors while the V12'S were selling well. Now it's the other way around.

try to imagine which one will be more successful!
55% Spiders vs. 45% Coupes are Ferrari's estimatives.

My theory is that this isn't a question of demand. IMO, since the Spiders are more expensive and probably have a bigger profit margin, they try to sell more to make more money.

Great find Nuno. It seems Ferrari's V8 series sold like hot cakes after the release of the f355.
