update


Original parts. Red stocking for seat fabric (used one piece).


Cutting template on back of kevlar decals.


Stock seat adjust bar was cut off, replaced with 1.5mm brass tubing painted black.




After kevlar decals were applied 2 light coats of clear.

this is basically what i bought:
a stock pocher 1:8 f40 kit, mint & unstarted $800
autograph f40 transkit $1400

here's both on ebay for $1700

pocher makes the testarossa but autograph doesnt make a kit for it so it won't be nearly as detailed as my f40.

I'm usually not really fond of models bigger than 1/43, but I have to say this looks damn impressive!

what does the trans kit give you?

1700$ damn you must love that car a lot. For that, I can get new rims and wheels for my car.

wow. that is absolutely awesome. the detail is incredible. all you need is real size parts and you can build a real one after you're done with the model.
