it made it 71.25 miles. They won the 10million.

also learned that apparently liquid mitrous oxide and rubber are a combustible mixture

its on the msn website i think

i don't know but Richard Branson is financing the licensing for it, which means it didn't take too long for it to get trivialized by corporate america :roll:

i just heard that it took the team 20 mil for the project...-20 mil in the bank + 10 mil prize = -10 mil...seems to me these guys just wanted the props from this instead of the money...

probably so. And i do give them props for it. I think it's cool that civillians will finally be able to go up into space. I just hope I live long enough to experince it.

yeah, no one did it for the money. I dont think any of them believed they could do it for 10mil or under.
