Top Gear - S14 EP2 - 22nd November, 2009 - Discussion
Jeremy, Richard and James attempt to save the planet by building their own electric car, and then put their latest 'green' creation through the rigours of the new car testing process. Meanwhile on the track, Europe takes on the USA in the battle of the continents, as Jeremy pits the Corvette ZR1's muscle against the finesse of Audi's R8 V10. The Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Hollywood's hottest new property, Frost/Nixon and Damned United star Michael Sheen.

^I absolutely agree. What an utter shitty project. The are tearing something nice apart to make something ugly. That is NOT engineering. The bus where they tore the motor from, is miles better than the end result.

But it was hilarious watching them do it, so I don't have a problem with it.

Watching them do what? I found a few points that I was willing to chuckle at, but I was looking forward to the Star in a reasonably priced car segment in hopes that it would go longer than the Geoff-whatever i thrust retarded deal. I am missing the segments like "buy a mid engined italian supercar for 10k pounds sterling, and complete these tasks" which are totally pointless anyway... but that is fun to watch. This wasn't.
Thankfully they streatched the R8 V10 vs. ZR1 segment from the summer season into this season so they could actually review a car or two. Hopefully ep. 3 will be better.
