I disagree.. look at the shape around the bottom of the light.. Thats not the shape of a piece of tape.. Thats a design patern in a light. It just looks like tape.. by design.
The rear lights look like tape.. The fronts definitly look designed in.
Time will show it either way..
It really does look to me to be part of the design. The only piece that reflects it not being is the rear light tape.
|
Look at the first pic the tape covers parts of the actual lights inside the lens now why would they do that?
And they can cut tape you know with like a razor blade...

That is the ugliest car I have ever seen. Even the M package doesn't help. Only redeeming factor is that it is rear-wheeled drive.

Indeed. The ordinary 1-series looks far better.

Errr... I wouldn't even call it ugly... just... I dunno... boring.
At the moment, only the 5-series seems to be the good looking bimmer, (sans X5) I hope the upcoming 3 series will look better.

Thats not camoflauge tape.. Theres not enough of it.
Thats tape actually in the headlights as part of their design.
|
100% sure it's camouflague. No way Bmw uses tape as enhancement for their design...

I feel quite strange reading your posts cause I like this design very much and the M-kit is quite nice.Of course , you cannot treat the black tape in front lights seriously, its a masked prototype I suppose.
Together with Z4 this is the best what Bagle did for BMW, much better than a 6 or 7 series.Very modern car!
