Yeah, good tip there SFD!
Or if you need to move, it is an effort, but!
1)remove e-brake
2)remove one wheel
3)boild a kettle
4)pour water over brake
5)repeat a couple of times
6)put wheel on, and do the other side
NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T do this if it is VERY cold, anything upto -10 you should be ok, otherwise you will end up with two lumps of ice lol

Don't you think hat discs might bend as a result of thermal shock???

Same happened to me last winter. Drove the car, she was a bit sluggish and when I parked the car I smelled unfamiliar odour
Phoned the Wegenwacht (dutch RAC) and they told me that there was a 45 minutes waiting time and that the best thing I could do in the meantime was to keep the engine running.
When the Wegenwacht arrived they put the car on a jack to check whether or not the brakes where still stuck. Fortunately the heat of the engine & exhaust had 'melted' the frozen water between the steel inner cables which operates the handbrake and the outer cablescovering, so both wheel were running freely. That's a solution which worked with my type of car; just note that the area is properly vented :fadein:
