Default 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary

This year, to celebrate Lamborghini's 40th Anniversary, the House of the Raging Bull is offering a special, limited edition series of its supercar Murcielago.

The SantAgata factory is upholding the Lamborghini tradition by continuing the Limited Edition Series. After the Countach 25th anniversary edition launched in 1988 and the Diablo SE launched in 1993, Automobili Lamborghini is about to launch the Murcielago 40th Anniversary Edition. A limited amount of 50 numbered cars will be produced which will be sold predominantly in Europe, the United States and Japan.

The car will be available in the exclusive Verde Artemis (jade green) colour, with a three layer pearl effect paint and features some significant modifications - both internal and external - compared to the series production Murcielago.

The upper door moulds as well as the voletto or pillar surrounding the rear window where the petrol door is located, feature an optic carbon fibre coating.

The grey anthracite coloured wheel rims make the car look more aggressive. The car is also equipped with a newly designed exhaust system and silver grey callipers. The central wheel logo, also newly designed, accurately reproduces Lamborghinis trademark.

Last but not least, the car will have a lateral side plaque featuring the 40th Anniversary Logo as well as an internal limited edition numbered plaque located inside the rear window.

The interior is also new with an asymmetrical design. The driver's side is equipped with Grigio Syrius (dark grey) perforated leather and the passengers side in smooth black leather.

The new accessories are completed with special floor mats featuring the 40th anniversary logo and an Alpine radio with incorporated CD player. Depending on the market, some cars will also be equipped with a satellite navigation system.

I think this is a repost. These images are computer generated or altered, there were some pics of this posted here of the real car.

Sort of old news, but thank anyways. I actually didn't have the first or second pic in that resoultion. So thanks a bunch!

I love the 40th anniversay Murcielago. At first the color didn't do much for me, but i now love it. Wish there was a power upgrade, but hell it still rocks!

complete bull, no pun intended, new colors and some floor mats, oh but its a special anniversary car, isn't that special, anyway, look at countach 25the and ddiabolo30the anniversary and compare, more power and different body design for those two cars, on the other hand, what we have here is a total lack of commitment to make this anniversary car special, its a blue murcielago, that's it, no more, no less, nothing special, I personally feel the new roadster is more special and exciting, whereas this is a half ass effort to commemorate 40 years of lamborghini, a very cool car company that unlike farrari, depends so much on design to sell their cars, as opposed to racing and world championships

there was one of these at the Toronto Lambo dealership when i went there. besides a fantastic colour IMO, the only other difference was dual calipers up front (4 and a 2 pot) . very nice car btw, but i also would have liked this car to be a little more 'special' than it is.

Oh ok, just wondering. I can see you like that site (and so do I) because I remember some posts by you that came from Supercars.

The colors are nice, but IMHO this 40th anniversary lambo is a letdown.
Seeing that they launched the Diablo SE30 (which was more than just a different color scheme) to mark their 30 yrs, they could have done a better job. The least they could have done was fiddle with the important stuff under the hood!

The problem is that unlike Ferrari who conmemorates annyversaries with extremely low production of a specially designed car , Lambo just spices up a little a current car and sell them
