The peak speed of the 911 is quite a bit more than the GT-R. Looking at the speed vs position curve, I guess GT-R's weight is showing it's tow. The GT-R seems to be able to carry more speed in the corner most of the time. I guess the situation will be in favor of the R8 in a 10+ lap session.

Isnt that the factory speed limiter holding it at 110 mph?

If you look at the curve from point 2 to point 3, the 911 pretty much beats the GT-R the whole way.
