Default Calibrating Monitor

So, I noticed that pictures being developed at Costco isn't really good. I noticed that colors looks very bright, vivid, vibrant on my monitor looks anything but when it comes out from Costco.

To compared, I took the same JPEG (transfered from my RAW in Adobe Lightroom), onto a Windows XP to see what it look like. And guess what, the colors aren't so vibrant on the Windows PC as well. Not as bad as the ones from Costco though.

A bit of it might be attributed to my Glossy Screen on my MacBook, which tends to make color look a bit more saturated. I think I might need to get a laptop with a matte screen instead. Another part is Apple's Core Image programing might also make things look more vibrant. Because on Window's Image Viewer, it doesn't look that good either.

This sucks, because that means, I can not accurately judge color on my computer.

So should I change my LCD Profile to sRGB?
