Running a large shot of NOS owuldn't be my 1st choice of power adders for the new Z06 with it's already high Compression Ratio. I'd be nervous with that setup. I'm thinking that N/A (w/o nitrous) tuning is going to be the best way to go with these cars for good power and reliability.

The rumour on the street is that the motor was severly damaged on the 2nd or 3rd run...
Oh - and one chap who carefully did the breakin on his car broke a valvle spring before the weekend.
So that is 2 engines down in the first 2 weeks of release.
1 carefully broken in following GM recomendations, and the other beaten to hell the first weekend - both saw an early demise...
As I say - some folks have more money than sense, and others just bad luck...

I read the C6 Z06 board and it seems to be atleast 3-4 Topics of issues. 1 guy had a missfire!!!!
The good thing about the C6 Z06 coming out though is that C5 Z06s will start to come out on the market in bushel fulls. My friend bought a C5 2002 Z06 Yellow, it looks good, I want a black one, then i will need to call the boys at borla, and then the boys at MTI.

Not at all - a built 427TT is a little different to just slapping a nitrous kit to a stock high compression motor..

The same way you might buy a $5 keyboard and try mod it, and if you break it throw it away - there are people to whom the price of a new $75,000 is just as insignificant...
Or daddy bought it for him
