Default New Alfa Romeo is here in USA

Alfa Romeo is here in USA....................or at least in Ann Arbor, Michigan with a black box on the dash and a couple of wires going into it.

I'll try to get better pictures, my camera does poorly at dusk. About 15 minutes later I almost hit a deer in my old Porsche while going 47 mph. Those old disc brakes and old dot 3 brake fluid did their job better than I could have expected. The camera and everything not tied down in the car went flying foreword, but all is well.

I can't make out the name, funny stick lettering all broken up style.

This car looks much better in real life, like a Yaris done over by Abarth. The headlights are very Porsche like, the tailights are just cool.

Actually it's Milan for the design and Turin (Torino) for the manufacturing. Hence MiTo.

And there's nothing remotely Porsche or Yaris about it, unless you're blind perhaps.

And you lack imagination.

Punishment enough.

Hardly.

If I looked at it hard enough I could probably decide it looks like a lettuce.

No need to get excited just because you don't know what you're talking about.

Having had a play in a MiTo I can tell you that although it is styled in an interesting way I prefer the closely related Fiat Punto Abarth for thrills, at least it's better than the Vauxhall Corsa.

If more can be said, it is best said with illustrations. Of course an appreciation of some of basic shapes involved in geometry such as circles and eclipses helps (if you are not blind, if so you can still feel both cars and decide).

Boxster-like headlights and 2001 T-Bird tail lights?

Not exactly, but then again it's not salad time either.

Are you a potato?

Loads of lights are that shape.

What sort of Porsche do you have, a SEAT?

pitfield and yoshi, you just reminded me why I don't post here more often.

I don't have time to babysit you, seriously what age are you guys?

Do you want to talk about cars or trade insults?

Decide and get back to me.

I just came back from a two weeks vacation in France and I've seen plenty of these MiTo in Paris. They are very cute, but the Alfa I liked the most was the 159.
Thanks for the pics kach22i
