Default Sunday Drive - 082909

Sunday Drive - 082909

Met up with some guys I know though Motorworld.net and went for a country ride.

The 1972 Pantera was just purchased, an estate sale listed in Craig's list of all places - screaming deal I was told. Original paint plus the carpeted luggage tray basket is shown behind the Ferrari.

You're a lucky guy!
So how do you ask a Ferrari owner to let you drive his car?

Actually, it's me who is handed the keys (in both cases of the 360 CS... the other times it is a tough task to ask for sure. One, in some ways I regretted almost immediately, and the others... well, we're good friends.)

This car, the owner formerly had a 355 GTB, and only just bought the 360 CS a week ago. That 355 was the first Ferrari I ever drove; so he felt pretty comfortable with my handling of his car... and I'm no small reason why he ended up buying it too.

according to him, my raving about how this other CS was "the perfect car... perfect steering, perfect brakes, perfect seating, perfect perfect blah blah" must have gotten to him lol!

A little preview, as POTM is making a comeback, I need to upload some images to nthimage again.

Oops, it was a Saturday drive, not a Sunday drive.

Does it matter?
