3rd gear with a whooping 520nm of torque
but going from 3rd to 4th and feeling the wheels spin is the sweetest feeling

In our car it has to be 2nd for me. Pulling off a roundabout and shifting into 2nd using the J-gate, then flooring it, ohhh my gooooood. The front rears up and as it gets round towards the read you can hear the sucking noise as it pulls air into the front! Its definately 2nd though, as by the time you doing 3500rpm in 3rd youre already very very illegal.

The XK8 is RWD - and BTW, just to stop any confusion it aint me that drives the XK, i still dont have a license, so the only thing im driving is a 1.4Hdi citroen C3 diesel. In that its 3rd cos its a diesel and you can pull comfortably at any RPM.

In my car I prefer 2nd and 3rd! My dad's car I prefer 3rd.
Let's see in my samurai when gets ready, it's almost done and prepared to roll

3rd or 4th gear... depending of the car.
If I had a CarreraGt, probably it would be the 2nd gear!! hehehe

In the GTI i prefer 3rd since it's where the car actually grips and it feels like it can pull on anything, but thats from my perspective.
