AMS is all about highway cruising.... IF you look at it from that point of view, then it is no surprise that the AMG CLS wins

I am sure "sport auto", would have voted for the BMW.

Edit: I forgot to say "thank you for the scans" they are much appreciated

good cars..excelent performances, but i would say just a "sad" thing, they lost a little time, very little but significant, from 140-160 in the acceleration, but it´s good time in both cars. I liked the 0-200 km/h times, great standing start

For sure with manual gears, the times could be even more decreased, as the only one sequential gearbox i know faster than manual ones are the F1 gearboxes, but it´s not this case. 8)

The CLS is a great car, but its strengths are very different from the M5. I see the M5 as the Enzo of super sedans. Its the most visceral, the most sporting. It may be less practical and less relaxed then the CLS(which takes an SLR type approach), but its far faster in the curves and just as fast in staright line.

can some one please tell me the point of the CLS??? The interior is straight out of the E-Class, but with a C-Class shifter, and navy, except for the E-Class push button CD Changer. I guess ill never understand this car, to me its an overpriced E-Class with C-Class interior, and almost S-Class Length.

That interior is straight out the E-Bascially. I see no S-Class really. The shift knob is from the C, see that little compartment by the glovebox, E-Class has that. The Ride hieght management system is from the E-Class in its posistioning. Im not hating on the car, im just wondering what its for? People who want an E-Class with alittle more size?

i just noticed more things in this car. The Air Conditioning setup and posistioning is E-Class, the Audio controls on the steering columns is fromt he CLK/SL/CL, the steering wheel looks original, thats about all i see now.
