I don't know if i'll see it again before its out on dvd or something... but I will buy it. This movie made up for the crap that was Troy, and the very boring, but historically accurate "Alexander"

Damn fun to watch.
Yeah the Queen was pretty damn HOT  .

Oh my god, Troy was terrible and yeah, I couldn't get through Alexander. It was pretty damn boring.

i was a bit dissapointed to be honest... but then again i had some really high expectations. Though the fight sequences were simply amazing, as a whole package, it falls short by a long way if u campare it to gladiator or braveheart....

then there was the annoying commentary by the guy with the weird accent, and the tons of historical inaccuracies. Also, there was just toooo much 'Spartan' going around, for eg. at the end of the movie when the showed the greek army charging, i personally dont see how it fits into history considering the persians were finally defeated at a sea battle.

Also, both braveheart and gladiator were quite moving in the end, this
one just ended, sort of, whn lyonidas was standing in the end and remembering his queen, personally i preferred how the showed maximus nearing the gates to paradise and his awaiting famiily with that moving music in the background....

perhaps i was just a bit dissapointed becuz i watched gladiator the day before, but this movie had all the potential to become a classic, the action, the history, evrything, if only they had hired a better director.

mel gibson perhaps.... :D

^^ come on you complain about historical inaccuracies? this movie is based on a comic, that doesn't give a rats ass about that

i saw the movie on monday, and hell it was really great but there were quite a couple of points i couldn't enjoy very much. the storyteller for one part, sometimes he was just like mattk stating the obvious and then there were some blood effects that really were rediculous, also all that beheading, like it's something special after the 3rd time...

this movie is definately not something that is very sophisticated, it's brutal and spot on, very spartan so to say

well the movie is based on a comic which is based on history... and dont misunderstand me, i loved the fight sequences, but i was just dissapointed cuz it didnt end up being all that it could have been.

I just think they couldve made it betr than gladiator and braveheart combined, they couldve made it oscar worthy.. and they didnt..
