Is still runing stock pistons rods and crank for over 3 years the stock parts of the sr20det are much stronger than people think.
And it has been trashed on the drapstrip for years never needed a rebuild.

Added a few more goodies since the feature was done, NOS firing out a purge valve thro one of the holes in the NS headlamp protector I've fitted armtech rev limiter/launch control/full throttle gearchange system.Changed the turbo xs rfl for a turbosmart megasonic, 30mm outlet better than the txs 25mm.Also added a NOS bottle heater system, brings pressure up from 600 to 950 psi.And probably the best performance mod is a new set of sticky Toyo R888 rubber...the yokohamas were struggling.
I've removed the heavy front & rear anti roll bars and drop links. And cut out the inner door skins, rear quarters and bootlid to shave a few more
kilos
Ps who has some videclips of the pulsar??

Since i know nothing about the Pulsar, does the SR20DET come stock on the car or does it use a regular SR20DE from the factory, or something else?

The SR20det engine is one of the best 2ltr engines you can get I 've seen cars with SR20 in them do some crazy things and they are a quite durable engine

I have read that are people in uk have soon more 600 bhp+ and some even 700 bhp or more in their gtir.
The can make very good track or dragstrip cars when setup and tuned right but a gti-r needs a gearbox whit a longer fith gear to make the most of the engine the fastest gtir's are only good for something like 160 mph topspeed because of the short gearing of the gearbox.
