Nice suggestion.... you won't have a powerslide at 160mph with all that grip they provide

The only explanation is that they are "slave wheels". Rims used to move the car about, usually on the assembly line in a factory, but they may also be fitted during storage of the car over long periods. It stops you getting flat-spots on the tyres (which could be expensive on 4 x £250 Pirellis )
