It's already scary enough to play the games.. I don't really need to haunt my life with their soundtrack too!

Silent hill is fucking scary, lol especially number 2.but they are great and need more thinking than resident evil.im liek you im one hell of a huge resident evil fan but IMO if u like the action/adventure that needs a bit of brain power u will liek them.made by the same people who made the metal gear solid series so u can imagine the game isnt shabby

well start with the first one,u should be able to find that VERY cheap as its on the PS1 BUT if u wanna play the second one its best to play the first as the character in the first one is in the second, that one is on PS2 same as the 3rd one which is a different story and character.id say start from number 1,u wont be dissapointed oh and dont play it alone, lol

is the new resi game yur talkin about the resi evil outbreak? the online one?

BTW i d/l have the music and listened to a few off the first game and dam its more scary than playing the game,i advise you not to listen to it at after 2am,in a room on your own in the dark.......liek im doin, very scary, lol

Yes Chaos you should try to find the 3 of them IMO. The first two beeing on PSX you should find them at cheap prices...

BTW, ever tried Project Zero / Fatal Frame (PAL / NTSC name ) 2 of them too, bloody scary IMO and quite different

even though this post have nothing to do with the thread, i'd like to share my experience since the word scary was mentioned.

i found resident evil very scary. i even closed all doors and switched off lights. turned up the speakers. what made it worse i was playing it in HK. yea you see bright neon lights everywhere but the alleyways are dark and my cousin's window was facing the alleyway.

the result was it got my heart racing quite a few times

^^^^ lol yeah i can imagine.the first resident evil i completed aswell as resi evil directors cut when i was 11-12 i think, whenever the game was released.anyway i had that hooked up to my stereo and the sounds of the doors and zombies scared me half to death.if liek me and your favourite resident evil is the first one you HAVE to play the re-make on the gamecube if u already havent.its just amazing,i just wish they would re-make the 2nd and 3rd ones as those are just awesome aswell.

but if u want the ultimate scare resident evil isnt the game, its silent hill or as i been told by TT many times when he is bein scared, that fatal frame is one for a good scare aswell.oh and u cant forget Alone in the dark 4 the new nightmare, thats the only game i played that i refused to put back in the machine,it scared me that much.

If Project Zero/Fatal Frame is so scary IMO it is because you don't have big guns or rifles to fight your enemies! To play the second opus late at night was fricking impossible for me!
