Default Porsche Cayenne Turbo S review

my christmas present was a 40min drive in the Turbo S ,
A friend of my parents made it possible, thanks again B.!
here's my review - sorry, not proper photoshooting was possible :bah:

a full black Turbo S

Exterior
the first thing you notice are the massive 380mm brake discs
I always liked the design of the Cayenne - a grown up Porsche, which kept some of the Porsche design features. The Turbo front is massive, looks powerful.
The Turbo S extras like the hood, the exhaust are minor changes in the design.
The Turbo rims are a must (the summer rims will be in black according to the owner, I don't know if they are completely black or like magwheel ones with a painted area) - don't like the standard ones as you see on the other pic that much - prolly only for the winter
But the best thing is the full black design of this car, much better than the chrome parts around the window.
vs.

Interior
see magwheels review for more pics, I didn't had time to take pics.
Me likes the black leather design.
The seats are good, they support well - and the heating is welcome in wintertime
The steering wheel is good, clear and organized dashboard.
On the negative side, there's the "'Tip Buttons" to change gears on the steering wheel - useless IMO, how can you reach them and move up-/ downwards

How does it drive?
for an SUV, it's a blast !!!!! Appraoching any regualr car from behind... looking down to him .... floor the 521 hp .... bye bye
you're the King of the Road
I drove a tuned (480hp) Turbo last summer but the difference is remarkable  , not only by the 40+ hp, it's a totally different drive.

The Porsche engieneers did an awesome job!

(Driving the tuned Turbo was fun, but I had the feeling of sitting in a boat, the car's for sure heavy and the rolling of the car didn't gave me confidence or a good street contact. and this was with summer tyres.)
The Turbo S however is totally different, you feel connected to the road, steering is very precise for a SUV, much less rolling.
The acceleration is impressive for a 2.5t monster. The turbo lack is almost gone, endless power!
the standard Turbo was like this: when flooring the car, first nothing happend and then Bumm - went off like a rocket :bah:

Specifications
8cyl. 4.5l engine, 521hp, 720Nm

What are the most positive features of the car?
impressive handling
very powerful
best looking SUV
Porsche quality

What are the most negative features of the car?
weight ( as all SUV's)
fuel consumption

Conclusion

I only drove on flat roads and in normal mode, this car is an amazing drive... IMO hard to beat for an SUV
Me wants another testdrive on mountain roads
