Gamestation over here in Huddersfield has PGR3 running in store on the demo pod things they have. Also they have a TV on the counter playing the lastest games, GT4 and Halo2 was also running when they was released. Personally I think its stupid if you can't have a try before you buy, how its hurting anyone I dont know.

hmmm we have demo consoles in the UK but the games they are playing are usually down to the shop and its not often they'll let you choose a game to play on it.

However, all the xbox 360 demo consoles i've seen have just been blank screens

well im not surprised, but i guess they could open one of each so you could try them, as simple as that... the only playable game ive seen is one of war at some target. and it wasnt the demo disc...
if it helps i played pgr3 and it was really good...

the only playable demos i have seen which were at wal mart were Call Of Duty 2 and King Kong
