NICE.......wonder will it still have the 50/50 balance with the heavy diesel block

0-60 in 6.6secs..that's some number from a diesel

I guess so the new engine is just 14 kg heavier than the normal 3.0d.

It has to be a proficient car, as BMW gets with the turbo diesel engines in 95% of the times, although i dont fancy with the turbo diesel engines, although a turbo diesel engine is compulsory for some usability at work, on the other hand as ive mentioned in another time in this forum, i dont dislike the 5 seriess shape, not as the 7 series and the 6 series shapes, which for me are absolutely hideous

I think a car as the 535 d could very well be my perfect everyday car, you get a lot of power, more than enough torque from very low rpm and it has very acceptable fuel consumption plus it looks very atractive in my opinion and has enough room for five people and luggage.

I just wish I had the $$ and then I could also get an M5 for really incredible driving pleasure

I think that the new MB diesel (350 CDI) will be better than this.....

Still its a "superdiesel engine"..... 8)

The main difference will be that in the MB engine there will be one turbo per bank of cylinders and in the BMW, there´s actually a small and a big turbo and they don´t work at the same time. We´ll see which is best but I have to say I have a strong feeling that the I6 will

With all that torque in these kinda cars, manual will be a wiser choise.. coz u can start in second and just skip shift it to forth...........

MB doesn't have such an option I believe....so I guess BMW has the advantage.

Manual for 580Nm.....?!

So why VW doesn't offer manual for the Touareg and the Phateon V10 5.0 TDI....?!
