It's actually a damn good car, very fast for its day (even though today an RS Focus should be able to beat it in a straight line).

Watching that Top Gear episode actually supported my view that I was a bit weird!

But looking at that pic MidEngine4Life....how can you not like that?!

Yea I used to own a 944. No turbo though =(

There was a rumor of a Carrera GT replacement few years back, but in a lower down market. Perhaps this is a preview.

There are building the 918 Spyder and they have a plan to build a new midengine topmodell further on!!!

Rumor has it the 918 is having a VERY difficult time getting pre-order deposits in. $800,000 is a lot harder to swallow than the 450k +- the CGT was.
